I found out that Misty Morning Photo Art is very long and difficult to tell people about, not to mention, it's really long to write out. So, I decided to change the name to a shorter one...Legacy PhotoArts.

Logan Temple

Several weeks ago, I went down towards Salt Lake and took pictures of temples down the valley. While I was down that way, I thought I might as well go on down to Manti. I really like the way this one turned out.
While I was taking pictures of the Provo Temple, my mind went back many years before when I was a student at BYU. It was at the time that funds were being raised for the Temple. We students were invited to contribute what we could. I donated the grand amount of $17.00. I sat down on a bench to just enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. I must say, it was the best $17.00 I ever spent.

Wildlife Refuge

I went to Salt Lake City two weeks ago. On the way home, I stopped by the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge. It's about a 12 mile drive through the refuge with birds everywhere. It's very flat, with lots of waterways and ponds teaming with wildlife. I was the only one there that day. Flurries of snow faded in and out. It felt peaceful and wild.

These Pelicans are awesome creatures. They look strange and awkward, but are wonderfully graceful and elegant in the air. Their beaks are very odd, but I expect they think they are very handsome (and useful).

Temples

I recently took some pictures of the Idaho Falls Temple and added an overlay to make it look old. I really like the effect.

I went up to Rexburg one evening and got some pictures of the new temple at night. It looks like a jewel on the hill.

I love butterflies

When we were in Tucson, I took some pictures of these butterflies. I don't think there is anything quite as beautiful. Notice how their fuselage matches their wings...now that's accessorizing.

The Last Tucson Sunset

We'll be heading home tomorrow so we tried to get one last sunset this evening. These are as is, without much retouching. This has been really fun!

New Sky

Here's a landscape picture that looked a little blah. In the final picture, I brightened up the yellows and added a little red.
I took a picture of some interesting clouds and added it to the top of the picture. It had to be stretched out and made narrower to fit.
This is the result. I'm no longer at the mercy of whatever happens to be in the sky. I can create my own work of art now!! Cool, huh!

Sunny Tucson

Enough snow. Ron & I decided to go where it's warm and get some sunny pix. These are at Tucson, AZ.

We went to Saguaro National Park on the east side of Tucson in the evening. Beautiful sunset!!

This is in the park on the west side of Tucson on our 2nd day of seeing the sights. It was cloudy this evening, so the evening pictures weren't as plentiful, but I managed to get a few good ones.

Interesting effects

I love frosty, foggy mornings. We had one the other day and I went outside to take some pictures. This is a tree in front of our house.

Then I took a picture of a texture on one of my walls downstairs.

I merged the two together for this interesting rendition.

When I was resizing it, I forgot to make it resize the same in all directions. I really like the surprise effect on this one.

These are pictures taken in the early evening on our first day touring in Israel. We visited Masada first, then stopped by the Dead Sea. I was fascinated by the soft pink and blue on the horizon and the beautiful salt covered rocks.
