I went to Salt Lake City two weeks ago. On the way home, I stopped by the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge. It's about a 12 mile drive through the refuge with birds everywhere. It's very flat, with lots of waterways and ponds teaming with wildlife. I was the only one there that day. Flurries of snow faded in and out. It felt peaceful and wild.

Fun! I visited the refuge years ago. What a beautiful and peaceful place--a gem that few people take the time to see!
